    Do you have a store I can visit and do you offer wholesale discounts?

    No, we are an online store only. With limited overheads we can pass the savings onto our customers. Our pricing policy is to provide a wide range of fairly priced products for all our customers everyday-no gimmicks, 'beading points' or loyalty schemes. These tend to put the regular prices up. We offer category and product discounts daily, so make sure you sign up to our newsletter to receive news of all our special promotions.

    You don't stock an item I need.  Can you get it for me?

    If you require any advice or would like us to stock something new please feel free to contact us. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions and enjoy receiving feedback in order to better serve our customers.  We will always endeavor to get something in for you as long as it is in keeping with our store specializations of glass and crystal beads for bead weaving.

    Where is The Beading Room?

    We are located in Grand Lake, near Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the quiet Eastern corner of Canada.  This is our registered business address only, as we are online and do not have a physical store.

    What are you going to do with my personal information?

    We respect your right to privacy, and any personal information gathered will be used solely to process and ship your order.


    We will never sell or share your information with any third parties other than needed to ship your order.


    We do not store Credit Card numbers or any other financial information on our site for your security. Any financial information is entered on our payment gateway servers, which are heavily encrypted and secured. We do not have access to any information you provide them, including card numbers. We feel this method provides the best security for our customers.


    We occasionally send out newsletters with special offers, new products and exclusive discounts. Please use the box on the bottom of our homepage to subscribe. You will always be given the option to unsubscribe when you receive any newsletter or other correspondence-a link will be provided.

    I have tax-exempt status.  How do I go about shopping online with you?

    No problem at all!  As long as your order is being shipped to a tax-exempt area we can certainly serve you.  Please open an account with us and send us a copy of your status card.  We can then set up our system so that you will not be charged tax when you checkout.
